St Barnabas House is very closely monitoring the situation concerning the COVID-19 virus and we are in close contact with Public Health England and the NHS.
We also have a number of Fundraising Volunteering Opportunities.
We are currently recruiting for volunteers to help support our charity shops ready for their reopening on 12 April 2021. In particular, we would love to hear from anyone who would be interesting in helping at our brand-new charity shop at Lyons Farm in Worthing.
Please contact us to find out more.
Due to the national lockdown from Tuesday 5 January, all volunteer roles at the hospice, in our retail shops and those visiting in the community are currently suspended for the foreseeable future.
Please keep checking back here for further updates.
As our retail shops are now open again, we have welcomed back our retail volunteers, and are currently recruiting for more volunteers in a number of shops. Please contact us to find out more.
All volunteer roles at the hospice, in our retail shops and those visiting in the community are currently suspended for the foreseeable future.
When our retail shops reopen, we will invite retail volunteers back into their roles if they feel comfortable to do so, and hope to welcome applications for new shop volunteers.
We will be reviewing hospice volunteers returning in due course.
Thank you for your ongoing support of St Barnabas House.
The majority of volunteers who come into St Barnabas House, into the retail shops and those visiting in the community stopped their volunteering in March.
However we are now carefully reintegrating volunteers back into key roles onsite, and all our retail shops are now open. We are inviting our retail volunteers back to their roles if they feel comfortable to do so, and welcoming applications for new retail volunteers. Please take a look here to see the contact details for each shop, and please contact us if you are interested in becoming a volunteer.
Looking after the wellbeing of our volunteers is important to us so, please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you at this time.
If you have any questions please get in contact with Voluntary Services by calling 01903 706315 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are not currently recruiting for any hospice-based roles, however we are accepting volunteer application forms. Please contact us if you would like us to send you one.
