Grab your team mates!

Hit the Downs MTB 2023 is a great event to do as a group. You can sign up as a team of friends or colleagues, and have a fun day out with your mates – with a bit of added friendly competition thrown in too!

Feel free to get your glad rags on! Lots of people choose to wear fancy dress for the day – as long as you’ve got your helmet on and your glam outfit isn’t going to obstruct your ability to cycle (or others!). We’re always excited to see what you all come up with.

Get ready for some killer climbs

Prepare for the ride of your life with unforgettable day of killer climbs, swooping descents and bucketloads of camaraderie. Choose from 30km, 60km or push yourself to a massive 80km cycle!

Our volunteers make it a day to remember

We couldn’t put Hit the Downs MTB on without the help of our fantastic volunteers. If you want to get involved on the day, but cycling’s not your thing – you can make a huge difference by volunteering. You could be cheering on cyclists, handing out medals, helping people out on route or a bit of everything. Find out more.
