We provide a learning environment to support knowledge and understanding as well as skill application related to recognising dying.

Who should attend?

Any Registered Nurse or allied health/social care professional supporting dying service users.

If you are a Registered Nurse, we recommended you also attend Verification of Expected Adult Death on the same day.

Learning outcomes

-To recognise the signs that suggest someone is approaching the last days of life.
-To identify reversible causes to promote effective end of life care.
-To discuss frameworks that support care at the end of life.
-To consider potential barriers to recognising dying.
