This session will allow us to review the symptoms and complexities of managing Palliative Care Emergencies.

Cost:

  • For all Sussex employees in health and social care: free (fully funded by NHS Sussex)
  • For anyone working outside of Sussex: £50 (1/2 day)/£100 (full day) all materials provided

Location: Virtual (via Teams)

Learning outcomes

Explain how you would manage emergencies in palliative care including:

-Neutropenic Sepsis

-Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression

-Hypercalcaemia

-Super Vena Cava Obstruction

-Haemorrhage

-Seizures
