We're here for you. Will you be here for us this winter?

We are having to make some difficult decisions. Hospices nationwide are facing a funding crisis, and St Barnabas is not immune.

Every year it costs more than £10 million to provide our care services. This figure has gone up as costs have risen, and it’s far more than we receive in government funding.

Growing demand for our services is adding to the challenge – especially as another winter approaches.

There are more families we want to support, but instead we’re having to make tough decisions about which services we can provide.

So, we’ve made a choice: to ask for your support now, so we can keep on caring for local families in the future.

We’re here for you

Marc has terminal cancer and has been supported in his home and at one of our hospices with nursing care, counselling and physiotherapy.

Our specialist teams have transformed his quality of life and given him precious time together with his husband Perrie and dog Gizmo, doing the things they love.

With your support, we can keep on caring for families across Worthing and the surrounding area.

Will you help Martlets this winter so we can be here for the future?

Visit your dedication

As part of our Light Up a Life celebration, there will be a display of loved one’s dedications on the windows of main reception during the festive season.

We warmly invite you to visit the display and take time to remember a loved one. Our coffee shop is open between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday and you are welcome to visit our chapel if you would like some quiet time of reflection.

If you would like a name included in this year’s display, please make a dedication online or call us on 01903 323555 by Friday 5 December.
